NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A hit-and-run driver hospitalized a 53-year-old woman on a bicycle in East Flatbush on Friday night, according to police.

The motorist was traveling along Cortelyou Road passing the intersection of New York Avenue around 11:10 p.m. when the cyclist collided with the driver’s side of the vehicle.
The vehicle fled before law enforcement arrived on the scene.
Officers found the woman lying in the road with head and body trauma.
EMS rushed her to NYC Health & Hospitals/Kings County, where she remains in critical condition.
Police have not yet made any arrests, and an investigation into the crash is ongoing.
