NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A driver was chased, beaten and robbed by a group of nearly a dozen people in Brooklyn, police said Tuesday as they released images of some suspects.

At about 6:20 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21, a 40-year-old man was sitting inside of a parked vehicle at the intersection of Utica Avenue and Union Street in Crown Heights, when approximately ten suspects approached his vehicle, officials said.

One of the suspects then kicked the victim's vehicle, police said. When the victim stepped out of his vehicle to confront the suspect, the entire group began chasing him.

The group caught up to the victim in the vicinity of Utica Avenue and President Street where they punched and kicked the victim multiple times in the head and body before stealing his cellphone.

The group dispersed in different directions, cops said.

EMS transported the victim to NYC Health and Hospitals/Kings County in stable condition.
