NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD released images Thursday of two suspects they’re searching for in back-to-back knifepoint robberies in Brooklyn.

The pair targeted a teen boy and a man in Ocean Hill over the span of just two hours on the afternoon of Jan. 6, police said.

The 16-year-old victim was walking at Sherlock Place and Herkimer Street at 3 p.m. when the thieves brandished knives and demanded his cell phone.

When the teen refused, one of them swung a knife at him, slashing his right hand. He was treated at an area hospital.

The crooks fled empty-handed from the first robbery, but they struck again at 4:45 p.m., targeting a 32-year-old man walking just a block away at Sackman and Herkimer streets, police said.

The pair whipped out knives, snatched the man’s phone from his hands and fled. He was not injured.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
