NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- Police are searching for two thieves who they say stole NYPD cameras and other equipment off of a downed utility pole in Brooklyn.

The NYPD released surveillance footage Monday showing the two suspects in a box truck during the May 7 theft in Brownsville.

Video shows the pair pulling up next to the pole, which had been previously knocked down, police said.
