NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- Police are searching for two thieves who they say stole NYPD cameras and other equipment off of a downed utility pole in Brooklyn.
The NYPD released surveillance footage Monday showing the two suspects in a box truck during the May 7 theft in Brownsville.
Video shows the pair pulling up next to the pole, which had been previously knocked down, police said.

One of them got out around 8 a.m. and loaded the NYPD cameras and equipment into the truck, according to police.
They were last seen fleeing eastbound on East New York Avenue, police said.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
