
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD on Tuesday released a photo of two suspects wanted in a burglary where more than $200,000 in jewelry was stolen from a Queens home last month, authorities said.
Just before 3 a.m. on Monday, May 1, the two suspects approached a residence located in the vicinity of 202 Street and 28 Avenue in Bayside where according to police, they were able to manipulate a locked door and gain entrance.
Once inside, the suspects removed a safe containing approximately $50,000, as well as jewelry valued at over $200,000.
The suspects fled the location in an unknown direction.
There were no residents inside of the home at the time of the incident and no injuries were reported as a result.
