Police arrest estranged husband for fatal stabbing of Manhattan NYCHA worker

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police arrested the estranged husband of a 45-year-old NYCHA worker who was stabbed to death in January.

Authorities accused Dwayne Street, 46, of stalking and stabbing his ex-wife, Lisa Epton.

Police found Epton face down in a kitchen at the East River Houses NYCHA complex in East Harlem with stab wounds to her torso on Jan. 5.

EMS pronounced her dead at the scene.

Friends and relatives of Epton told the New York Daily News that Street was stalking her before her death.

He faces charges for murder, assault and stalking.
