Kenneth Diu, 46, was issued a desk appearance ticket for assault, tampering with public records, computer tampering and obstructing governmental administration, sources told the New York Daily News.

Traffic agent Dipankar Dipu, 33, told the outlet that he was on Greenpoint Avenue and 46th Street in Sunnyside around 2:30 p.m. on April 19, when he saw a black 2015 Jeep Cherokee with tinted windows partially parked in a bus zone.

The rest of the Jeep remained in a metered zone, and when Dipu said he noticed it did not have a receipt on the dashboard, he moved to place a ticket under the windshield wiper. That's when Diu, who was inside the Jeep, put an FBI placard on the car’s dashboard.

Dipu said he had already issued the summons when he claimed Diu got out of the car and insisted he void the ticket.

The agent then allegedly snatched Dipu's ticketing device and successfully rescinded the ticket. Diu threw Dipu against the Jeep and placed one handcuff on him before the traffic agent's supervisor came.

A man answered the phone at Diu's home in Queens but hung up when contacted Wednesday by the Daily News.
