
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A fire at the Koch Cancer Center at Memorial Sloan Kettering on the Upper East Side, sent thick smoke near the East River on Tuesday afternoon.

Multiple Citizen App videos show smoke from the fire on the 6th floor of the hospital on East 74th Street and York Avenue.
Authorities said the fire, which has been extinguished, prompted the closure of York Avenue from East 72nd Street to East 76th Street.
The FDNY and emergency personnel remain at the scene.
