
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A 46-year-old man found decomposing under a couch at a Queens apartment last month been identified, police said Monday.

The gruesome discovery of Jason Brady was made June 29 by NYPD officers responding to a 911 call around 1:30 p.m. from the landlord of a building on Jamaica Avenue, near 77th Street, in Woodhaven.
A tenant had called the landlord to complain about a foul smell emanating from the apartment where the dead man was found.
When officers gained entry to the unit, they found his badly decomposed body under a couch, police said.
Brady's neck and back were found with multiple stab wounds, causing his death, police said Monday.

Police said last month Brady may have been dead for several weeks.
His connection to the apartment remains unknown at this time.
