
NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- A group of thieves beat up a 67-year-old subway rider and stole his senior MetroCard on a moving F train in Brooklyn over the weekend, police said.
The NYPD released images Monday of four suspects they're searching for in the attack early Sunday near the Carroll Street station in Carroll Gardens.
The victim was riding a Manhattan-bound train at 2:25 a.m. when he was surrounded by four males who demanded his money.
They punched him repeatedly in the head and stole his cellphone and senior MetroCard, police said. They then fled at the Carroll Street stop.
The victim wasn't seriously injured and was treated at the scene by EMS, according to police.
