NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for a group of men who beat and robbed a man of his clothes and other possessions at gunpoint during a night-time transaction in Queens early Saturday.
The 27-year-old victim had met an unidentified man near the intersection of 135th Street and Grand Central Parkway in Jamaica Hills to sell him “merchandise” around 2 a.m., officials said.
While the two men talked, three other men approached the victim from behind and jumped him, according to authorities.
The group allegedly punched and kicked the victim before pulling guns on him and forcing him into a gray 2022 Toyota Corolla with license plate number KZZ3656.
The robbers hit him in the head with one of the firearms and took his clothes, wallet and car keys.
The group dropped the victim off near a park in the vicinity of Eastern Parkway and Rochester Avenue in Brooklyn, a roughly 30-minute drive away.
EMS treated the victim for cuts on his head and neck.
