'Irate' suspect shoots man over Queens parking space: NYPD

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man was shot Friday afternoon after an argument over parking escalated, police said.

On Friday Dec. 17 at 1:42 p.m., a dispute played out in front of 111-77 157th St. in Jamaica, Queens over a parking space.

Cops said the two men argued to a point where the suspect became “irate,” pulling out a gun and shooting the other man in the hand.

The 32-year-old man drove himself to a hospital, where he was treated and released.

Police are still searching for the shooter, releasing surveillance photos of him Saturday.

He’s described by authorities as a man with a large build, last seen wearing a red jacket and a white T-shirt.
