NEW YORK (1010 WINS) Police released photos on Friday of two suspects wanted in connection to a violent robbery pattern spanning across the Bronx and Brooklyn.

The spree targeted a wide range of victims, including a young child and senior citizens, with the thieves often using weapons or physical force to steal jewelry and personal belongings.

According to officials, on March 24, the suspects approached a 10-year-old boy near East 142nd Street and St. Ann’s Avenue Mott Haven. One of the suspects brandished a knife and made verbal threats to the child while demanding his coat, which was valued at approximately $1,000 before fleeing with it.

The investigation into the spree began following a March 9 robbery that happened in front of 210 St. Ann’s Ave. where a suspect snatched a chain from a man’s neck and attempted to punch him before fleeing.

Two days later, three suspects robbed a 47-year-old man at gunpoint near Brook Avenue and East 142nd Street, taking a necklace and cash with a combined value of $3,480, officials said.

The spree also extended into Brooklyn on March 26, when a 20-year-old man had his necklace forcibly ripped from his neck by a suspect who escaped in a gray Ford sedan.

On April 13, a 63-year-old man was knocked to the ground by two suspects who stole his $5,000 necklace near Brook Avenue, leaving him with minor injuries.

The most recent attempt occurred on May 4, when three suspects unsuccessfully tried to rip a necklace from a 42-year-old man from behind in the vicinity of East 142nd Street and Brook Avenue.

Anyone with information regarding any of these incidents is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS.
