
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a gunman after a man was shot in front of a deli on the Lower East Side early Sunday morning, authorities said.
At approximately 12:51 a.m., police responded to a 911 call of a man shot in front of the Rivington Deli located at 210 Rivington St., officials said.
Upon arrival, officers observed an 18-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the neck.
EMS rushed the victim to New York-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing at this time.
The identification of the deceased is pending family notification.
