
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is investigating the shooting death of a man found on a Brooklyn street early Monday morning, authorities said.
At approximately 2:17 a.m., police responded to a 911 call of shots fired at a warehouse located at 111 Dinsmore Place in Cypress Hills.
Upon arrival, EMS discovered a 26-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the chest in front of 235 Richmond Street.
Police say the victim ran around the corner and collapsed on Richmond Street after he was shot.
He was transported by EMS to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
The identity of the deceased is pending family notification.
