Man, 37, shot and killed in Brooklyn, gunman flees in car

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a gunman after a man was repeatedly shot and killed Monday evening in Brooklyn, authorities said.

At approximately 6 p.m., police responded to a 911 call of a male shot at 202 East 91st St. in East Flatbush.

Upon arrival, officers discovered that a 37-year-old man who had been shot once in the chest and once in the shoulder.

The victim was transported by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County and was pronounced dead.

The gunman, a man in a hoodie and black mask, fled in a gray Nissan, the Daily News reported.

There have been no arrests made and the investigation is ongoing.

The identification of the deceased is pending proper family notification.
