
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A man was fatally stabbed during an assault early Monday in Brooklyn, authorities said.
Officers responded to a call of an assault at Rockaway Avenue and Livonia Avenue in Brownsville around 3:45 a.m., police said.
The 54-year-old victim was found unconscious and unresponsive with stab wounds to his back and neck, according to officials.
EMS workers transported the man to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
