
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a man accused of pushing a senior to the ground during a robbery outside a Bronx building last week, authorities said.
At approximately 1:10 a.m. on Saturday, April 8, a 68-year-old man victim was entering his residential building in the vicinity of East 199th Street and Briggs Avenue in Jerome Park, when the suspect approached him from behind and pushed him to the ground.
The victim fell on his face and the suspect then stole the victim’s wallet and approximately $200.
The suspect fled on foot, heading westbound on Bedford Park Boulevard, cops said.
The victim was seen by EMS and refused medical services.
