Man brutally beaten in Brooklyn robbery, 2 sought

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 39-year-old man was beaten up in a Brooklyn daylight robbery earlier this month, police said as they released photos of the suspects they're seeking.

According to police, the victim was standing in front of Brookdale Pharmacy on Linden Boulevard on Jan. 3 around 12:55 p.m. when two men approached him and began striking him multiple times in the back of the head and about the body with closed fists, causing a minor laceration to the side of his face.

The suspects then removed the victim's wallet from his pockets, which contained around $50, and fled on foot to parts unknown.

The victim refused medical attention at the scene.
