
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man was critically injured when he was struck by a train after he fell on train tracks at a Brooklyn subway station late Sunday, authorities said.
The incident happened at approximately 11:50 p.m. at the Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center station in Park Slope, officials said.
According to police, the 30-year-old man fell onto the tracks and had his leg severed by an on coming D train.
The man was transported to an area hospital where he remains in critical condition.
