NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A 31-year-old man was fatally shot outside of a Brooklyn NYCHA apartment complex early Wednesday morning, authorities said.
At approximately 12:30 a.m., police responded to a 911 call of a man shot the courtyard of the Genesis Homes located on Hinsdale Street in East New York.
Upon arrival, officers discovered Jason Oliver with a gunshot wound to the chest.
Oliver was transported to Brookdale University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
There have been no arrests made and an investigation remains ongoing.
