NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is searching for a gunman after a man was found shot in an apartment building in Harlem early Tuesday morning, authorities said.
Just after 2 a.m., police responded to a 911 call of a man shot inside of 114 West 137th St., officials said.
Upon arrival, officers observed 40-year-old Bryan Cummings with a gunshot wound to the torso at a first-floor apartment in the building.
EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to NYC Health & Hospitals/Harlem, where he was later pronounced deceased.
Cummings was a known Bloods member who was playing poker with a group of men inside the apartment, sources told the Daily News. He was shot during a disagreement at the poker table.
Police recovered one 9mm shell casing from the apartment.
There have been no arrests made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
