Man hit with glass bottle, pushed down stairs, robbed while waiting for C train in Harlem

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for a suspect who assaulted and robbed a man while he was waiting for the subway in Harlem last month.

The incident happened on April 14 around 4:30 p.m. as the 50-year-old victim was waiting on the northbound C train platform on 145th Street, cops said.

A man came up to the victim, punched him in the face, hit him in the head with a glass bottle and then pushed him down the stairs, authorities said.

After assaulting him, the man took the victim’s wallet before fleeing the scene, according to police.

The victim refused medical attention.
