NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A 27-year-old man was hospitalized after his vehicle was struck by a Land Rover in a hit-and-run collision in Brooklyn on Sunday evening, authorities said.
The collision happened at approximately 7 p.m. at Hendrickson Street and Avenue U in Marine Park, officials said.
According to police, the Land Rover hits his car then sped off.
The crash caused the man to be thrown from his vehicle, striking the pavement.
He was transported to Brookdale Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
Police are still searching for the driver, and an investigation is ongoing.
