Man points gun at MTA worker in Queens subway

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a man accused of waving a gun at an MTA employee inside a Queens subway station earlier this week, authorities said.

It happened at approximately 10:50 p.m. on Monday, August 14, when a 22-year-old on-duty MTA employee was standing on the platform at the Far Rockaway-Mott Avenue train station in Far Rockaway.

The suspect displayed a firearm in the employee's direction before fleeing onto a northbound A train, officials said.

The victim was uninjured in this incident.

The suspect was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, gray shorts, and black slippers.
