
NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – Cops are searching for the man who pushed an on-duty MTA worker into a fare box as he fought with her on a Bronx bus.
The NYPD released surveillance images Tuesday of the suspect in the May 8 assault on a Bx12 bus in Allerton.
The man and the employee got into an argument on the bus around 3:30 p.m., as the bus was in the area of Williamsbridge Road and Pelham Parkway.
During the dispute, he pushed her into a fare box and the front partition of the bus, police said.
He then fled the bus and took off southbound on Esplanade Avenue.
EMS transported the worker to an area hospital, where she was treated for pain to her body, according to police.
