The NYPD release surveillance images Tuesday of the suspect in Sunday evening’s unprovoked attack at 45th Street and Eighth Avenue in Sunset Park.
Police said the 41-year-old mom was walking with her two children around 6:25 p.m. when the man came up and took out a knife.
The man slashed her in the stomach, causing a minor laceration, police said.
She was taken to NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn in stable condition. Her kids weren't injured.
The suspect was last seen fleeing southbound down Seventh Avenue, police said.
