Man survives being shot twice in Queens; shooter at large

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 29-year-old man survived being shot twice in Queens Sunday morning, police said.

The victim was shot in the shoulder and ankle in front of 110-08 202nd St. in St. Albans around 9:44 a.m.

The shooter fled the scene after the shooting, police said.

The wounded victim was hospitalized in stable condition.

It wasn't immediately clear what led to the gunfire.

No arrests have been made, and an investigation is ongoing.
