
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for a man who shoved and dragged a 75-year-old man in Greenwich Village on Wednesday.
The pedestrian was walking near the intersection of Bedford and Downing Streets around 7:40 p.m. when a stranger approached him from behind and shoved him to the ground before dragging him along the concrete, according to authorities.
The suspect reportedly fled after the attack.
The victim suffered bruising to his head, and he sought medical treatment by private means, officials said.
