Man wielding wine bottle robs subway rider in Brooklyn: police

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are looking for a man armed with a wine bottle who robbed a subway rider on a J train in Brooklyn.

According to police, the 39-year-old victim was on the train as it approached the Myrtle Avenue subway station on Feb. 15 around 6 p.m. when the thief raised the bottle toward him and demanded his wallet.

The victim complied, and the suspect removed about $190.

There were no injuries as a result of this incident.
