
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Three men were beaten and robbed inside a Manhattan subway station after they refused to give their assailants money, police said Thursday.
According to police, the victims had walked into the Saint Nicholas Avenue and West 163rd Street subway station around 2:45 p.m. June 2 after denying the four suspects money. The foursome followed the trio inside the station.
Once inside, police said one man struck the first victim with a helmet and stole money from his pocket.
Three of the suspects chased the second victim, then punched, kicked, threw him on the ground and and also snatched money from his pocket,
At least one of the offenders punched and kicked the third victim.
Police on Thursday released an image of the four suspects who fled out of the subway station and into a sedan that drove off southbound on Amsterdam Avenue.
All the victims were treated at a local hospital.
