NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- A mob of thieves beat up a 13-year-old boy and stole his shoes and hat in a Brooklyn subway station this week, police said Friday.
The NYPD released images showing the half-dozen suspects they're searching for in Sunday evening's robbery at the Flatbush Avenue–Brooklyn College station in Flatbush.
The boy was inside the mezzanine area of the station at 5 p.m. when he was surrounded by six people who punched and kicked him throughout the body, police said.

As they were assaulting him, they stole the shoes off his feet and the hat off his head before fleeing, according to police.
The victim was transported in stable condition to Mount Sinai Hospital to be treated.
