NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Two teen boys were arrested after an NYPD officer was run over by a stolen Honda in Brooklyn, police said Friday.
The suspects, ages 15 and 16, were arrested after striking the officer at E. 29th Street and Foster Avenue in East Flatbush around 7:45 p.m. Thursday, according to police.
NYPD officers were responding to a report of a stolen black Honda Accord when they saw a vehicle that matched the description and pulled its driver over.

As an officer exited a police car to conduct a traffic stop, the teen driver ran him over, causing him to topple onto the front hood of the vehicle and fall to the ground, where he broke is foot, police said.
The driver took off but was pursued by police and eventually polled over at New York Avenue and Avenue D in East Flatbush.
The two boys in the car were arrested at the scene. Police haven't announced the charges against them.
The injured officer was taken to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
