NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — An off-duty NYPD school crossing guard was arrested Friday after she attacked an 11-year-old girl who got into an argument with her daughter in Queens, according to police.

Sanija Kurtovic, 46, hit the child in the face after the argument with her daughter turned physical at the corner of Morris Park Avenue and Fowler Avenue in Morris Park, officials said.

She also held the victim down as her daughter attacked her, according to authorities.

Police did not specify the age of Kurtovic’s daughter.

The crossing guard was charged with harassment and endangering the welfare of a child.
