
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- An off-duty NYPD officer and two friends were robbed of their watches at knifepoint early Tuesday morning in Brooklyn, authorities said.
According to police, at approximately 1:45 a.m. the 27-year-old officer was outside an apartment building located on Guider Avenue near East 12th Street in Brighton Beach when two suspects with knives approached them and demanded their watches.

The officer and friends handed the suspects the watches before fleeing.
A description of the suspects was not immediately available.
An investigation remains ongoing.
