The victim was stabbed aboard a train at the 81st Street–Museum of Natural History station on the Upper West Side around 11:30 p.m.

Some sort of dispute led to the assault on the train, police said.

NYPD officers and paramedics were seen outside of the station along Central Park West after the stabbing.

The victim suffered a minor cut to the back and refused medical attention, according to police.

The NYPD was still searching for the suspect, who fled the scene.
