
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 22-year-old man was punched and slashed for his scooter in Brooklyn, police said Tuesday.
The victim was on his scooter at the corner of Fulton Street and Norwood Avenue on April 11 around 7:15 p.m. when he was approached by the knife-wielding assistants.
According to police, one of the suspects slugged the man in the face, while the other slashed him on the left arm.
The men then forcibly removed the scooter from the victim, and both fled to parts unknown.
The victim refused medical attention at the scene, police said.
The estimated value of the scooter is $1,250.
