
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a man accused of punching a senior in the face in a random attack in Manhattan last month, authorities said.
At approximately 10:25 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26, a 72-year-old man was sitting in front of a building located at 117 9th Ave. in Chelsea, when he was approached by the suspect.
According to police, the suspect engaged the victim in conversation before punching him in the face.
The suspect was last seen fleeing into the building.
EMS transported the victim to Lenox Health Greenwich Village in stable condition.
