
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A man attacked a woman after making conversation with her in Central Park early Thursday morning, according to police.
The man approached the woman as she walked along the reservoir around 5:55 a.m. and struck up a conversation, according to officials.
He then grabbed her head and slammed it against a tree multiple times before fleeing on a Blue CitiBike out of the park on the 86th Street Transverse, authorities said.
EMS brought the victim to a local hospital.
