Suspect attacks man and woman with metal pipe after dispute in Brooklyn

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police on Tuesday released photos of a man accused of beating a man and a woman with a metal pipe following a dispute that happened in Brooklyn last month, authorities said.

Just after midnight on Thursday, April 6, a man and woman, both 68 years old, had a verbal dispute with the suspect at 1167 Lenox Rd. in Brownsville.


A physical altercation ensued and the suspect left the location and returned with a metal pipe, officials said.

The suspect then used the pipe to strike the man multiple times in the body and also repeatedly struck the woman in the head.

The suspect fled on foot, heading northbound on East 98th Street.

EMS transported the victims to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County in stable condition.

The suspect was last seen wearing a reflective vest, blue jeans and a black hooded sweatshirt.
