NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police released surveillance images of a suspect and a vehicle Wednesday, days after a 15-year-old boy was shot nine times in upper Manhattan and left hospitalized.

The teen was at the corner of W. 204th Street and Broadway in Inwood shortly before 9 p.m. Saturday when he was shot by a man, according to police.

The gunman got out of a black Toyota Highlander driven by a second person and then opened fire on the victim, police said.

The teen was shot nine times, according to police. EMS transported him to St. Barnabas Hospital in critical condition; he was said to be in stable condition on Wednesday.

After the shooting, the gunman fled westbound on W. 204th Street then northbound on Broadway, police said.
