
NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- A 17-year-old boy was arrested in the fatal shooting of another teen at a Bronx subway station last week, police said Monday.
The suspect, who hasn't been identified because of his age, was arrested in the Bronx on Friday.
He was charged with murder, manslaughter and criminal possession of a firearm.
Police believe he's the gunman who shot another a 17-year-old boy at the Burke Avenue station in Allerton around 10 p.m. last Monday night.
The victim was shot in the head and died at NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi. He was identified as Kymani Kymani, of the Bronx.
The shooting followed an altercation between two groups of boys on a subway train that spilled into the elevated station, the Daily News reported.
During the chaos, the victim was thrown down two sets of staircases to the street level, where he was shot by a gunman who stood over him and fired multiple times, police said.
The gunman was also shot in the hip during the confrontation, but it's unclear by who.
No other arrests have been reported in the case.
