Tribeca stranger pulls woman to ground by hair, breaks her bones

NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- A woman suffered broken bones and other injuries after a stranger dragged her by her hair on a Tribeca street this week, police said Thursday.

The NYPD released images of the unidentified suspect they’re searching for in Sunday afternoon’s attack at Greenwich Street and Park Place.

The victim was walking in the area around 4:15 p.m. when her attacker came up, grabbed her hair and pulled her to the ground, police said.

The vicious assault left the woman with a fractured foot and fractured finger. She also suffered bruising to her elbow and hair loss, according to police.

She was transported in stable condition to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue.
