NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A boy was beaten unconscious outside an Upper Manhattan McDonald’s by a group of a half-dozen people who stole the Air Jordan sneakers off his feet, police said Thursday.
The NYPD released photos of at least six people they’re searching for in last Saturday’s attack.
The 16-year-old boy was outside the McDonald’s at W. 145th Street and Broadway in Hamilton Heights around 9:15 p.m. when the group began pummeling him.
They repeatedly punched and kicked him and then snatched the shoes from his feet and fled, according to police, who said the victim lost consciousness during the attack.
The boy was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem, where he was in stable condition.
