NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are seeking a shoplifter who got into a dispute with a Bronx Home Depot security guard last month and flashed a knife.
The man entered the Home Depot on 600 Exterior St. April 28 around 1:50 p.m. and eventually passed all points of sale with merchandise that he did not pay for, police said.
When the 34-year-old loss prevention officer approached the thief, the suspect got into a struggle for the store items and then displayed a knife before fleeing on foot.
He got away with the merchandise valued at around $115.
No physical injuries have been reported as a result of this incident.
