NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for two suspects who they say beat a 64-year-old man on a midtown Manhattan street after he refused to give them cash.

The NYPD released surveillance video Tuesday of the duo wanted in the attack on W. 33rd Street, between Fifth and Sixth avenues, on the morning of Dec. 3.
The victim was walking near W. 33rd Street and Seventh Avenue around 8:15 a.m. when a man and a second person asked him for money.
He declined to give them cash and kept walking, but the pair followed him down the block and attacked him, police said.

The male suspect bashed the victim in the face with a blunt object and then took off with the second suspect, according to police.
The victim suffered a laceration to his forehead and swelling to his eye. He was transported to Mount Sinai West Hospital in stable condition.
The suspects were last seen heading northbound down 10th Avenue.
