NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Two men fell onto the subway tracks after a verbal dispute in a subway station turned physical and led to a slashing, police said.

A 52-year-old man can be seen on surveillance video walking on the platform of the Broadway Junction A and C station on Wednesday around 9:45 p.m.
The man was then approached by another man who started an argument with him and took out a knife and began to chase him, police said.
As the victim runs away, the knife-wielding man knocks both of them over onto the subway tracks before he slashes the victim in the chest, ear, finger and head, cops said.
Both men were able to get out of the tracks before a train came, authorities said.
The victim went on his own to get medical attention for his injuries from the attack.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
