NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A 42-year-old woman died after she was shot multiple times in Brooklyn on Monday morning, police said.

The victim, who hasn’t been identified, was discovered around 1:15 a.m. by NYPD officers responding to a 911 call at an apartment building on Rockaway Parkway, near Winthrop Street, in Brownsville.
She was found unconscious and unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds to her body, police said.
EMS transported her to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been reported as the investigation continues.
The victim had recently reported separate assaults from an ex-boyfriend, a cousin and a stranger, the Daily News reported.
