NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 61-year-old woman was fatally shot and a 43-year-old man wounded early Wednesday during a shooting in a Staten Island apartment, authorities said.

The shooting happened just before 6 a.m. at 260 Park Hill Avenue in Grymes Hill, police said.
Responding officers found the woman with a gunshot wound to her head and the man with a gunshot wound to his shoulder inside the apartment complex, according to officials.
The woman, whose identity was not immediately released, was pronounced dead at the scene and the man was taken to Richmond University Medical Center in stable condition.
No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
