NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 67-year-old woman was shoved down a flight of stairs at a Queens subway station, police said Monday as they hunt for a female suspect.
Officers responded to the Jackson Heights–Roosevelt Avenue/74th Street station around 6:45 a.m. Sunday after a 911 call, police said.
There they found the victim, who sustained injuries to her right elbow and hip.
Police said the woman was transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst in stable condition.
A motive for the push remains unclear.
There are no arrests, and the investigation remains ongoing.
